Policies

Please read these policies before booking your appointment. They are in place to make sure we are all on the same page and so you know what to expect from your treatment 🙂
  • If you are a new client, please have bare nails at your first appointment (unless spoken to me otherwise).
  • When booking your appointment, please book the correct service. 2 hours is allocated per client, regardless of your chosen service.
  • I will only infill my own work. 
  • Please let me know if you require me to bring my travel desk and stool, this is no issue for me and no extra cost, it is only to make the service more comfortable for you.

Payment:

Payments can be made via cash or card payment on my card machine- if paying cash please ensure the correct cash is given as I do not often carry change.

Aftercare:

Please follow the aftercare advice below for your manicure to last as long as possible, following advice improperly or not at all may result in nails chipping or lifting unnecessarily. 

  • Try to use hand cream and cuticle oil as often as possible, this hydrates the nail and cuticle- aiding your manicure to grow out nicely and will prevent your nails lifting.
  • Avoid having your nails in water for long periods of time (baths, swimming, washing up etc.)
  • Do NOT use your nails as tools, ie: opening cans, peeling off stickers/labels.
  • Do NOT pick at or peel your manicure. Peeling gel/BIAB off will peel away the layer of natural nail it has adhered to. It may weaken your nails and make them brittle. 
  • Use cuticle oil daily, this helps nourish the skin and nails, and helps the retention and longevity of your set.

Right to refuse

  • I have the right to refuse service to anyone that is intoxicated or behaving improperly.
  • I also have the right to refuse service to anyone who’s health may be impacted by their nail enhancement service, this is for your safety only and no charge will apply.

Health and Safety

  • Before your treatment takes place you will be given a consultation form to fill in and must answer questions truthfully. This is for your safety as medical conditions can impact nail health. 

Repairs and refunds

  • Repairs are free of charge for the first 72 hours and are charged £3 per nail there after
  • Please bear in mind that I will also have to travel to you to do this so an extra travel charge may apply
  • Refunds are not given due to time and products used to carry out the treatments

Cancellations:

  • Please allow 48 hours or more to cancel an appointment. 
  • If between 24 and 48 hours is given, you will be required to pay half of the service value.
  • If less than 24 hours is given, you will be required to pay the full service value.

Re-arranging appointments:

  • Please give 48 hours or more to rearrange an appointment.
  • If less than 48 hours is given to rearrange an appointment, a deposit will be required to book the new appointment. Your appointment will only be confirmed when the deposit has been received.
